Guillaume Onimus, "Paysages limite III", (2007)
Guillaume Onimus (1976) / Guillaume Onimus has considered the territory issue since 2003 in its series "Paysages limite".
The third part, conceived in 2007 and entitled "Paysages limite III", focuses on climbing rocks in a sculptural set. Each work consists in four pictures printed in a 1 : 1 scale, which gives monumentality to these narrow paths – a few meters in reality. This new perception is made possible thanks to the specific framing and exhibition (hanging) device, both contributing to transform the represented reality so that the rocks spread out the photographic frame with all its might, from a photograph to another.
