Liminaires
Born in 1983, Benoit Vollmer, also French, studied photography in the prestigious swiss school of Vevey. With Liminaires, a work in progress, he convenes both extrimities of the history ofphotography, with the use of a technique that reminds us of the daguerrotype, developed to serve contemporary preoccupations. His work connects with Jean-Marc Bustamante's researches about "fragments de durée".
This group of heterogeneous images reaches a harmonious unity full of poetry.
