The Jury of the Levallois – Epson 2011 Photography Prize, met on Wednesday September 7th in Levallois and unanimously decided to award the fourth Levallois – Epson 2011 Photography Prize to Alexander Gronsky (Estonia, 1980), for his series Mountains & Waters.

The Prize consists of a 10 000 euro grant and the production of an exhibition within the framework of the fourth festival.

Loyal to the international vocation of the Prize, the 2011 jury gathered professionals from Europe and Asia, who elected this photographer’s work from among 239 candidates from 41 countries.

  • Rémy Fenzy, Director of l'Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie (Graduate School of Photography), Arles, France
  • Carlos Gollonet, Curator, adviser in photography at the Foundation MAPFRE, Madrid, Spain
  • Stéphane Decreps, Deputy Mayor in charge of cultural affairs, Town of Levallois
